A woman tried to sell her two children on Facebook. According to a March 11 report by KWTV Channel 9 News in Oklahoma City, the Sallisaw woman needed bail money for her boyfriend.
“That woman needs a total hysterectomy,” Devon Michaels, from Oklahoma City, said. “She should have her kids taken away and be prevented from ever having any more. Spay her like the b**** she is.”
Misty VanHorn contacted a woman in Arkansas. Misty VanHorn told the woman that, for $1,000, she could have her two-year-old daughter and all of her daughter's belongings. She explained to the Arkansas woman that she needed the money to bail her boyfriend out of jail.
At the time of publication, it was unknown why Misty VanHorn's boyfriend was in custody or what charges are pending. It was also unknown if the boyfriend was released.
Misty VanHorn was arrested by the Sallisaw police for child trafficking . She is currently in the Sequoyah County Jail. Her children are in the custody of the state. The bond for Misty Van Horn is $40,000.
