A woman was found inside a suitcase contorted into a ball and hiding under some clothes by Customs and Border Protection officers at the U.S.-Mexican border. The photo above is the photo released by the border agents that shows this Thai woman inside the suitcase when they first opened it up, according to CNN News on Jan. 8.

The suitcase that the 48-year-old woman was hiding in was in the back of a car coming over the border from Mexico into the U.S. last week. The driver of the car, an unidentified 56-year-old Phoenix, Arizona man, stopped at the first border check point and was directed to go to the area where they did a more thorough inspection of the car.

This is when the agents checked over the contents of the SUV and opened up the suitcase to find a Thai national named Pornkamol Mongkolsermsask, who was already deported once before. She was charged with “re-entry after deportation,” according to the CBP spokesperson Victor Brabble.

The name of the man was not released who was driving the SUV and tried to smuggle the woman into the country.
