A Bensalem Township woman is in critical condition following a serious crash on the 3000 of Knights Rd.in the township. Shortly after 8:00 p.m. Anne Gizzi of the 3100 block of Knights Rd was crossing the street when her vehicle was struck by a southbound vehicle.
The driver of the car, Francisco Delapela of Portsmith Ct. sustained injuries when the pedestrian rolled onto the hood of his vehicle and smashed through the window. He waslisted in stable condition.
Knights road was closed in both directions for several hours,while police investigated the scene. At this time it does not look like any charges will be filed in the crash.
