Woman set on fire, life-threatening burns result of boyfriend's rage

A woman was set on fire in San Francisco Sunday afternoon, Inquisitr reports Jan. 7. The woman's boyfriend allegedly poured gasoline on the woman and set her ablaze, which resulted in severe burns that are listed as life-threatening.

The woman removed her clothes after the flammable liquid was dumped on her while at a local laundromat with her sister, but she was still badly injured. After police arrived, she was transferred to St. Francis Hospital’s Burn Center for emergency treatment. The woman's sister also received burns.

22-year-old Dexter Oliver is the man believed to have set the woman on fire. He remains at large. Oliver is a black man standing 5'10" tall and weighs about 155 pounds. His description also includes "last seen wearing a red-and-white hoodie jacket, dark pajama pants with a multicolored shamrock print, with gray and red Nike tennis shoes. Oliver also has a design haircut of a fish on one side of his head, and a lighting bolt on the other side.”

For whatever reason, this crime was obviously the result of a boyfriend's inexplicable rage.

As for the woman who set on fire, she's said by authorities to be in her 20s.
