Some folks believe reincarnation is a theory that not only includes people but also their pets. Even I have wondered if my little Shih Tzu here in Hamilton, Ontario was the reincarnated soul of pets that I previously loved. But for a Langley, B.C. resident this idea is much more than simply a theory when it comes to her beloved cats.
In November, 2009, Krystael Lynn lost one of her cats names Simba. The 67-year-old who is also what new age proponents term a light worker, said the first sign that Simba had returned was on Boxing Day in 2011 while cuddling one of her other cats, Raphael.
“I had gone to bed around 6 a.m.,” Kraystael explained. I was cuddling my old cat Raphael, trying to sleep. All of a sudden out of the blue, I heard a loud yowl exactly like Simba's. He did not meow. He yowled with a very loud voice. There was no mistaking that his spirit had come to visit me. He knew I could not see spirits, and that I was pining for him. He needed to let me know he was there so used his voice to get my attention. I have never heard any cat who had a voice like that in my life.”
Krystael said her heart leapt with excitement. She got out of bed to consult her pendulum to see if it were really true. A pendulum is used as a psychic tool to determine ‘yes’ or ‘no’ answers.
I asked if the spirit of Simba was with me and got a ‘big yes!’” she said. I could feel his love fill me up."
She had no idea at the time that Simba had returned through one of her neighbor’s kittens – right in her own apartment building.
As a light worker, Krystael had been in “a dark place” for some time. She felt burned out and fed up in her attempts to “deal with the dark forces” around her. Things got so bad that she even asked to be allowed to go home.
“When Simba died, it set off a catalyst of old suppressed grief/ despair/hopelessness/depression and most of all, abandonment, which I had been still releasing after two years. I must have had a lot of those wounds from past lives that his death triggered. As hard as I tried to practice detachment and let him go, nothing I have done has worked. It's like he took a piece of my heart with him. I lost the will to live when he left. My heart never healed.”
Krystael added, "I consoled myself that he was in a better place and would never be attacked by the dark entities again. I also have had tremendous guilt and regret at the life he had to endure to be my cat and be in service with the clearing work I did. So many times, I have called for him to come and show himself to me but I never saw him. I then convinced myself that he didn’t come because he was glad to be rid of me and did not want to ever come back to be my cat again after this last lifetime. This brought me even more emotional suffering.”
