Woman marries twin sister's killer: 22-year-old makes odd choice

A woman marries her twin sister's killer on Valentine's Day. On Feb. 15, Mail Online reported that Edith Casas, 22, married Victor Cingolani -- the man who is currently in jail for her sister's murder. Cingolani was found guilty of killing model Johana Casas and he's less than one year in to his 13-year sentence.

"The couple married in Pico Truncade in southern Argentina, the same city where Johana was shot twice in the head days before her 20th birthday in July 2010," Mail Online reported. The people of Argentina weren't too happy with Casas' decision and many threw eggs and rocks at the her when she walked out of the register office.

The woman who married her twin sister's killer is now making national news. Most people find the situation "crazy" and can't even imagine why anyone would do this. Naturally, Casas doesn't believe that her husband is a murderer. In fact, she said that he isn't a violent person at all.

"I’m going to get married to the person I love and not the person who killed my sister. Victor is not a violent person and I’m not mad. We’ve got no doubts about what we’re doing. We love each other," she said. The couple will spend their first decade of marriage living apart, however, because others believe Cingolani is a murderer -- and he's in jail for it.

The woman who married her twin sister's killer does not have the support of her family. They believe that she has committed the ultimate betrayal.
