Woman is the light of man. This could not be any clearer than to watch people in relationships and see how it is generally the woman who is smiling at the man in effect always bringing him good cheer. Woman is the inspiration for man and his reason for surpassing his own darker nature. When man seeks to hide that light in effect veiling it so that his darker nature can give rein to its negative impulses this is then the cause of all of the horrible conditions that have ever been brought into this world.
It is because man has tried to veil the light of woman that this world has any darkness at all or that this darkness perpetuates itself. It is for man to listen to woman for this is the light in his soul. She is the spark that will forever awaken the divine glow of unity if he will only let her be what she is which is a natural inspiration meant to brighten not only a man's life but indeed the light of the world.
The subjugation of woman throughout the centuries and continuing even to this day to some extent even in the so called enlightened cultures shows how difficult this constant suppression of woman is to a man's greater well being and the well being of the world.
The truth of this premise of woman being the light of a man's life is something that in his heart of hearts no man can never deny. Without woman his life is meaningless and all of this is even without regard to the light that his children bring to him through woman.
Man's attempt to shield himself from the light of woman is nothing more than a selfish attempt to have everything for himself at the expense of the good nature of woman denying her the greater glory that is her due in this field of awakening that is the human condition.
The very prospect then that man should be able to dictate to woman simply because of his greater strength is a source of shame to the human race. Cultures in which women are made to be in this mold or that mold or are required to fulfill this law or that law are simply attempts by men to grab what they will by force and intimidation. There are cultures too that rationalize this process saying it is for the good of woman that they restrict her in every way they choose, sexually, politically, and morally all the while running rampant in these various same mores.
Let us get one thing straight. Man does not by any means have claim to the higher ground in relations with woman. He has consistently taken the lower road to his detriment and the detriment of the entire race of man.
So what has to happen to change this dynamic? The good news is that it is already changing simply due to the explosion of information throughout the world. Men who could previously hide their darkest behaviors now find them broadcast in real time throughout the world. The suppression of women cannot be hidden any longer as even those who rationalize its practice are being discovered as being hypocritical and the antithesis of the 'holier than thou' preaching they promote.
Most of all it is women themselves who in their unrelenting pursuit for fairness are increasingly breaking away from the male defined systems of oppression and standing up for themselves all the while continuing their optimism and winning attitude that has inspired men throughout the ages. As men are turning around in admiration of their strength they will also realize that at no time have women sought revenge, or domination through the exercise of their power.
There is much work to be done. Men are terrified at losing their power just as the South in the American Civil War resisted the emancipation of the African American even to this day still harboring resentments that shows itself in the racial side of politics.
As long as one woman remains enslaved by the male culture either in religious terms, or in actual barbaric laws that limit the scope of her self expression men will have to deal with their own darkness that manifests as violence, wars, corruption, hypocrisy, and most of all fear of losing their power.
In the end it is the rebellious child that perverts the system stemming from resentment at his mother telling him to be good. It is out of this perversion that male society then institutionalizes that subjugation of woman in order to veil its own darkest fears.
In spite of this the light of woman will continue to shine until it reaches into the heart of that frightened child who will no longer need to lash out at society, or women or each other all in order to prove that he is in charge. This light can never be dimmed and can only grow the brighter filled as always with her love and the promise of lasting peace.
