A 28-year-old woman is in critical condition after being struck by a car early Saturday morning. WDIV-4 broke the story.
The incident occurred at about 1:00 AM Saturday at Algonquin St and East Forest Ave on the city’s east side.
The victim had been engaged in an argument with someone when she was struck by a car.
According to WDIV-4, the car was being driven by a 27-year-old black woman.
The driver left the scene of the accident.
The victim was taken to an area hospital and, as of Saturday night, was listed in critical condition.
