The 32-year-old woman accused of the cruel deed, which took place on Nov. 14, is Selina Boulton.
Boulton allegedly broke into her ex-boyfriend's home after an argument.; inside of the home, she is accused of attacking the man's 13-year-old basset hound, "Jixer," with a choke collar and a frying pan.
According to court records, the elderly dog sustained broken ribs, a collapsed lung and a stab wound, in addition to being strangled with the collar.
According to the police report, Boulton, who is smiling in her booking photo, apparently showed no remorse for Jixer's death.
