Elaine Cook, 51, from Skokie, Ill., bit off a chunk of her boyfriend’s tongue after the two lovebirds got into an argument on Valentine’s Day, Fox News reported today.
The not so great kisser has been charged with aggravated domestic battery.
The boyfriend, who asked not to be identified, said:
"The whole thing makes me kind of sad."
"In one day I lost half a tongue and my girlfriend."
The well-meaning boyfriend didn’t want to leave things in a bad way after the couple’s Feb. 14 argument. As the evening was winding down, he leaned in to give his girlfriend a kiss to try and make amends.
"Yeah, I've done it before," the man says of the kiss-and-makeup technique."
"We have arguments, and I come in and grab her, 'stop this,' try to kiss her. It's worked before and I thought it would work now."
As the boyfriend went in for that fateful makeup kiss, the loving girlfriend “allegedly clamped down and severed a large portion of his tongue and tossed the tongue on a cabinet.”
The distraught boyfriend called an ambulance and packed his tongue on ice.
Doctors reported that due to an inadequate blood supply, they were not able to reattach the man’s French kissing tool.
The man’s not sure if he’ll ever forgive Elaine Cook for that memorable Valentine’s Day kiss, but does plan on speaking with her in the future – just for closure.
