Woman calls 911 after non-emergency issue with shopping cart

A 40-year-old woman recently called 911 over an issue that she was having with a shopping cart. According to a video report by GeoBeats, Catherine Dajnowski was arrested after calling 911 repeatedly.

The incident occurred at a Publix in Boca Raton, Florida. Apparently Dajnowski was sitting in the shopping cart while phoning police, telling them that a store employee wanted to take the cart away from her.

Police arrived on the scene and told Dajnowski that she needed to give the shopping cart back as it was not her property. While she seemed like she was going to comply, she continued her shenanigans once police were out of sight. She called 911 again, making the same complaints.

When police arrived at the Publix location for the second time, Dajnowski was taken into custody. She was told not to call 911 for non-emergencies and decided to push her luck. She called 911 with the cops standing right in front of her. She has been charged with misusing an emergency line.

Not surprisingly, Dajnowski didn't show up for her court date last month. She was arrested and charged again.
