Fishers, IN - A 28 yr-old woman has been arrested on charges of felony animal cruelty after allegations that she killed a dog by throwing it from a balcony.
According to WANE News, the dog belonged to the woman's boyfriend.
The disturbing incident took place back on January 24.
The suspected abuser, Sarah E. Rust, was not arrested until February 17. Authorities made the arrest after they spoke to the veterinarian who attempted to save the dog's life.
Tragically, the dog's death reportedly happened during an argument between Rust and her boyfriend.
The one life who had nothing to do with the dispute is the innocent dog who lost his life...the dog who was unceremoniously tossed from a second floor balcony like an unfeeling object.
Rest in peace to this dog, name unknown.
