Just when we thought perhaps the world couldn't get any sicker there comes a story like this one. It's been reported that a "mother" has been accused of abusing her children for meth and possibly money.
On Jan. 3, the Huffington Post reported on this story about an Oklahoma woman, Natalie Webb, who sexually abused three of her four children. One of the children, a boy aged nine, said his mother raped and abused his three siblings.
Police say Webb abused her children from December 2012 to March 2013. 30 year old Webb is currently sitting behind bars and is being held on $2 million bond. It's said the judge wanted to make sure she would be in court to pay for her crimes.
An affidavit was obtained by the Huffington Post and gives some details about what happened. According to the report the children suffered "repeated rapes, beatings and deplorable living conditions."
It was Webb's nine-year-old son who told about the abuse that his eight-year-old brother and two three-year-old sisters endured. The nine-year-old said he escaped the abuse because he would run away and hide in a dumpster.
He also said his siblings were repeatedly raped as other adults, men and women, would watch the abuse. The boy said he remembers the screams of his sisters as the mother violated them. The abuse sometimes would include foreign objects. The boy also is said to have hinted that his mother might have been inflicting the abuse on the children for money and not just meth.
One of the three-year-old daughters confirmed her brother's account of what happened in the home. The little girl said what her mother did to her made her feel "nasty." The children also reportedly told police they would see needles laying around the house on a regular basis.
The affidavit states, “[The child] said these things would happen lots of times. He thinks when mom took the needles it would make her act different … she would act weird and… her arm would have little dots where it was bleeding.”
Not only are there allegations of sexual abuse, but the children said they were subjected to "repeated beatings and even being thrown against the wall" numerous times.
The children are reportedly now living with their grandparents.
Those of you who believe in the power of prayer, please say one for these innocent little children. They are in need of a loving touch from God's hand to heal the hurts inflicted upon them.
