Des Moines rockers Wolves in the Attic will be playing a record release show at the Downtown Des Moines venue Vaudeville Mews on Friday, February 15. Openers for the show will be former Wolves in the Attic member Jordan Mayland and his current band the Thermal Detonators, as well as newcomers Pussy Willow. Doors for the show will open at 9:30 p.m., and the music will kick off at 10 p.m. There will be a $5 cover charge at the door, and the show is a 21-and-over event.
Wolves in the Attic was formed back in 2007 when Eric Moffitt was offered a chance to play Vaudeville Mews by booker Ladd Askland, but didn't have a band. Moffitt recruited former Keepers of the Carpet bandmate Jordan Mayland, along with Nick Parks and Devin Frank, and the band was born. The lineup has changed some over the years, but the band's following has remained. They have
Moffitt and the current Wolves, Trent Derby and Chris Hachky, return to the spot of their debut frequently. This visit is to officially release their 6-song EP Pink Mist.
