Bethesda Softworks released a new trailer Wednesday for Wolfenstein: The New Order that introduces some of the heroes that help B.J. Blazkowicz in the upcoming PS4, Xbox One and PC shooter along with some of the over-the-top Nazi villains. The publisher also revealed that pre-orders for the game come with access to the beta for the long-awaited return of DOOM.

Wolfenstein: The New Order is currently slated for a May 20 release in North America and May 23 debut in Europe. Those that pre-order the game will be granted access to the beta for the next DOOM game. Details on DOOM have still yet to be revealed and there is no information regarding when the beta may start.

Eligible retailers participating in the beta promotion include Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, EB Games and Target.

The new "Boom Boom" trailer continues the Nazi skewing of 1960s pop culture by taking the classic John Lee Hooker blues song and putting a German tilt on it. This is combined with video that shows Blazkowicz waking up in a world where the Nazis have taken over. The hero from the original Wolfenstein joins the resistance but he also has to face down some nasty villains like General Dethshead, Frau Engel and a cadre of advanced soldiers with advance weaponry plus mechs.
