- BRETT HAYES, Kansas City Royals: Hayes hit his second home run of the spring, a solo shot in the second inning off Bartolo Colon, in the Royals' 8-2 victory over the Oakland A's. Hayes started at catcher and went 1-for-2. He now has three RBI this spring.
- CHRIS DICKERSON, Baltimore Orioles: Dickerson pinch-hit for Alexi Casilla in the sixth inning and struck out in the Orioles' 6-6 tie with the Toronto Blue Jays. The next time up Dickerson, now the right fielder, singled for a 1-for-2 afternoon.
- KEVIN JEPSEN, Los Angeles Angels: Jepsen, a Bishop Manogue High graduate, pitched a scoreless fifth inning in the Angels' 6-4 win over the Cincinnati Reds. Jepsen allowed a hit and struck out a batter.
- SCOTT COUSINS, Los Angeles Angels: Cousins, a North Valleys High graduate, entered the game in the sixth inning as a pinch-runner for Brandan Harris and scored a run. He stayed in the 6-4 win over the Cincinnati Reds as the left fielder and fanned in his only at-bat.
