  • LYLE OVERBAY, Boston Red Sox: Overbay went 0-for-2 at designated hitter in a 7-3 win over the Minnesota Twins. Overbay also walked in the game and is now hitting .240 this spring.
  • CHRIS GIMENEZ, Tampa Bay Rays: Gimenez played first base and caught in a 4-3 win over the Baltimore Orioles. He had one at-bat and drew a walk and is hitting .423 this spring.
  • BRETT HAYES, Kansas City Royals: Hayes caught and was 0-for-2 in a 5-3 win over he Cleveland Indians. He is now hitting .286 this spring.
  • SCOTT COUSINS, Los Angeles Angels: Cousins, a North Valleys High graduate, was 1-for-2 and scored a run in a 12-4 win over the Chicago White Sox. Cousins is now hitting .222 (4-for-18) this spring.
