Bradey Shipley, the 2012 Western Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Year, has been named to the pre-season All-Mountain West baseball team by the league's six head coaches.
The Nevada Wolf Pack junior was 9-4 last season with a 2.20 earned run average in 15 starts.
The 6-foot-3, 190-ound right-hander allowed just 73 hits in 98.1 innings last year. He struck out 88 and walked 40 and allowed opponents to hit just .212 against him.
Shipley, who was named WAC Pitcher of the Week last April 16, is expected to be the Pack's opening day starter Feb. 15 in Mesa, Ariz. against the Kansas Jayhawks.
