The Wolf Pack held the Norfolk Admirals scoreless for over 53 minutes out of the 60 played last night. That's always a tough way to lose a hockey game, especially after a long road trip(distance wise).

The Pack lost 1-0 as they were shut out for the seventh time this season, fifth time on the road.

They put up 25 shots against Admiral goaltender John Gibson, who was the games first star earning his fourth shut out of the season. Hartford Wolf Pack goaltender David LeNeveu was the game's third star stopping 13 of 14 shots.

The two teams have not played each other since the first game of the season. They both played over two scoreless periods of hockey before Chris Wagner scored to take the games only lead at 13:31 of the third period. Wagner, who is from Wellesley Massachusetts, scored his sixth goal of the season for the Admirals. He was also the games second star.

The Wolf Pack will dock in Norfolk for one more game as they play the Admirals again tonight. The Pack have lost the two previous games to Norfolk, losing the home opener 3-2 in a shoot out. The Admirals will play Hartford one more time this season in Hartford on April 6.

After tonights game in Norfolk the team will play Springfield on the road before returning home to play Manchester on Saturday for Dylan McIlrath bobble head night.
