WNY auto racing this week – July 1st through 6th, 2014

Ransomville Speedway – There is plenty of racing action at the Niagara County dirt track this week. On Wednesday, July 2nd, the annual Battle at the Border for the Super DIRTcar 358 Modified Series pays $5,200 to win and will feature some of the top names in DIRT Modifieds; also on the race card – Super DIRTcar Sportsman, 4-Banger non-winners race and fireworks. On Friday, July 4th, a full night of racing will feature Sportsman, street stocks, 4-Bangers, Novice Sportsman and more. Get complete details about this week’s races at www.ransomvillespeedway.com.

Holland Speedway – On Saturday, July 5th the Race of Champions Asphalt Modified Tour comes to Holland for a 100-lap event; the night will also feature Pro Modifieds, Chargers, Hornets and TQ Midgets. Grandstand gates open at 4:45 p.m., with qualifying action getting underway at 6 p.m. – find out more at www.hollandspeedway.com.

Canandaigua Motorsports Park – Take a trip to this Finger Lakes dirt track for action on Saturday, July 5th. The race card will feature Big Block Modifieds, Sportsman, 305 sprints, Pro Street Stocks, Pure Stocks and New Legend Sportsman, as well as a youth demo derby.
