WKU's first Sun Belt Men's Basketball Tournament game not on television

The 2010 Sun Belt Tournament kicks off Saturday for Western Kentucky University but fans have no choice but to listen to it. There will be no television coverage of the game because the venue cannot be lighted well enough for television.

The Hilltoppers are seeded fourth and are trying to their third straight invitation to the NCAA championship tournament.

Saturday, March 6 the Tops meet 13th-seeded New Orleans at 6:45 PM in Hot Springs, Ark. WKU won the only regular season meeting between the two teams, 76-56, at Diddle Arena on January 30.

Both teams were without a key player as WKU did not have the services of Sergio Kerusch while the Privateers were minus Billy Humphrey.

This will be the last year the New Orleans Privateers will be in the Sun Belt. Because of program cutbacks they are moving to Division III.
