WKU basketball fanatics can vote for Ty Rogers buzzer-beater

WKU assistant basketball coach,. Ty Rogers,  is still making news with a shot he took in 2008. Rogers launched the shot that put #12 Western Kentucky University into the next round of the NCAA Tournament. The shot won Rogers and ESPY for "Best Finish" given by ESPN.

Now, fans can vote again in a bracket-style contest. The SportsNation has selected Rogers shot as one of the top 16 buzzer-beaters in NCAA Tournament history.

Now Topper fans have a chance for more glory to head Rogers' way by voting for his shot again.

Rogers' shot is seeded seventh and is facing off against Bryce Drew's (Valparaiso) game winner over Ole Miss in 1998.

SportsNation buzzer-beater special will be on Monday, March 15 at 6:00 PM CT on ESPN2. All 16 buzzer-beaters will be shown with the winner announced at the end of the program.
