WJTC-TV recently added the syndicated professional wrestling program "Ring of Honor Wrestling" to their regular programming schedule for Sunday between the hours of 10:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. This would make them the third TV station in the Mobile, Alabama-Pensacola, Florida TV market to broadcast the program during the same calendar week on a regular basis; with the other two stations being WEAR-TV and WFGX-TV (WFGX-TV would usually broadcast the program on Saturday at 9:00 p.m. while WEAR-TV would usually broadcast it on Sunday at 12:05 a.m. or shortly thereafter depending on their college football programming from the American Broadcasting Company, or ABC for short). All three of them are owned and operated by the same company that owns the program, the Sinclair Broadcast Group (the company also owns and operates WPMI-TV in the same TV market).
(note: the Mobile TV Examiner article titled "Advertising gimmick for WKRG-TV referenced in advertisement for WPMI-TV" was amended to include a reference to WPMI-TV's "Crime Alerts" initiative)
