This past Friday, Wizdom headlined at the Nectar Lounge for the release party of his latest album, Music: Soul of the Man. Other Seattle artists within the hip-hop community came out to celebrate and rock the stage as well. Such as the "King of Ballard", Grynch, GMK of Firm Official, and Integral Music Group's head honcho, DJ Marc Sense kept the party movin on the decks while Macklemore hosted the event.
This day also marked "FREE Slurpee Day" on 7/11 at 7-Eleven.
I digress though. What I like most about Wizdom is his delivery spittin lyrics over beats that you can nod your head to courtesy of Epidemmik on this release.
You'll hear people talk about "real rap" and ironically enough people are subjectecd to the world of "reality television" a la WWF type "entertainment" of current times. No way am I comparing Wizdom to reality television, but what I am sayin is that his raps are real. Some sh!t that you can relate to and understand what comes from the mind of one Wizdom.
You'll also take note that The Physics' Thig Natural as well as Seattle Seahawk, Nate Burleson aka New Balance is featured on Music: Soul of the Man. The album can be picked up at your local record shop as well as online. Links to online and retail outlets are listed below.
IF YOU DIDN'T KNOW: This is Wizdom's second album. His first is called The Book of Wizdom which you can purchase on Amazon.
