Today March 11, 2013 Wizards of the Coast announced "You Make The Card 4." Players will have until 9 A.M. P.T. on Friday March 15, 2013 to cast the first vote, which will decide what type of permanent the fourth "You Make The Card" will be:
- Artifact
- Creature
- Enchantment
- Instant/Sorcery
- Land
Two types were absent from the list: Planewalker because it's "too complicated" and Tribal because "we aren't going to design new cards with the Tribal type in the foreseeable future." Additionally, Wizards of the Coast wants everyone to chime in with their opinions.
This time, we'd like to involve the whole Magic Internet in the process, not just DailyMTG.com. We'll leave plenty of time for discussions to take place and articles to be written. Some of the most interesting votes will be announced before the polls open, to give influential members of the community a chance to shape public perception and lobby for their choices.
Players can use the Twitter hashtag #ymtc to discuss "You Make The Card 4" and #ymtc1 to talk about this first vote.
