'Wizard of Oz' gets a tribute at the 86th Academy Awards

The popular 1939 film "The Wizard of Oz," was given a special tribute at the 86th annual Academy Awards.

Whoopi Goldberg announced the tribute, she introduced Liza Minnelli, Lorna Luft, and Joey Luft, the children of late actress Judy Garland. Garland was the star of the classic film, who in fact was even given an honorary Junior Oscar for her role.

Goldberg also introduced, singer Pink, who then sang the popular song from the movie, "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" to the audience.

The show cut to commercial then it came back with Ellen Degeneres, (she is hosting the Oscars) who came out in a Glinda, the Good Witch costume.

The Oscars tonight are airing on ABC.
