A Littleton, CO, witness reported watching a "small, cylindrical, white object" that appeared to be missile-like and possibly a drone crossing the sky about 11:23 a.m. on January 4, 2013, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The witness was outside facing west and watching two airplanes fly by when the object was first seen.
"After planes had flown out of sight range, a small, white cylindrical object at high speeds with, no noise, flew in between the apparent flight paths and altitudes of prior aircraft at a westerly direction," the witness stated.
The witness described the object.
"Object at first appeared to have wing structure, but after observing for a minute or so; it was obvious it did not. Object either was at a very high altitude or indeed was very small in structure. Object appeared to be 'meteoritic' at first but did not burn up, nor did it produce any sort of tail associated with a 'shooting star.'"
No images or videos were included in the MUFON report, which was filed on January 4, 2013. The above quotes were edited for clarity. Littleton is located in Arapahoe, Douglas and Jefferson counties, population 41,737.

January 4, 2013, 11:23 a.m., Littleton, Arapahoe County, CO - Small cylindrical, white object, Missile like, possibly a drone. Case 45014.
stepped outside on back porch to smoke, was facing west towards mountain range, observed two airplanes, one flying west, the other flying northeast. Plane flying west was at a higher altitude than playing flying northeast( and was probably commercial aircraft flying towards D.I.A.) After planes had flow out of sight range, a small white cylindrical object at high speeds with, no noise flew in-between the apparent flightpath and altitudes of prior aircraft; at a westerly direction. Object at first appeared to have wing structure, but after observing for a minute or so; it was obvious it did not. Object either was at a very high altitude or indeed was very small in structure. Object appeared to be "meteoritic" at first but did not burn up, nor did it produce any short of tail , associated with a "shooting star."
