April 25, 2010 - One day, Chris Shaw had about $28 in his bank account.  The next day, the convenience store clerk won the $258.8 million dollar Powerball jackpot in Missouri.

Chris, who is 29 years old, says he has plans to use a tiny portion of his winnings to pay off the $1000 bill that has be detrimental to his life.

He owes a friend cash for a used truck that he bought.  Additionally, he wants to go to a dentist to get four new front teeth.

He also wants to take his three children as well as his girlfriends' two children to Disney World in Florida.

“We didn’t come from money. For us it’s just going to be a huge relief to know I’m going to be able to pay my electric bill, my gas bill. It’s like a weight lifted. I had bills at home I didn’t know how they were going to be paid.”

Shaw said that he paid $5 for the Powerball ticket that he bought this past Wednesday.  By Friday, the man with four front teeth missing, became an instant gazillionaire.  Odds for winning the lottery are extremely low, from 15 million to 1 to 200 million to 1, depending on circumstances.  With less than $30 in his bank account, Chris Shaw spent $5 on Powerball.  His returns came back astronomical.
