'Wish I was here Sweepstakes' from Hotels.com: Win a stay at a beachfront hotel

Hotels.com is giving travelers the chance to win a getaway to a sunny beach destination. Seven winners will be selected to receive a voucher for a hotel stay at one of seven beautiful beach locations in Aruba, Cancun, Puerto Rico or Mexico. The promotion runs from February 8-22.

Beach-goers can enter by visiting Hotels.com’s promotion site and sharing the beachfront hotel that they “wish they were at” via their Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn pages. Each entrant will receive one entry in the sweepstakes drawing for a stay at the property of their choice. For each friend that shares that same property with his or her social networks, the original entrant will get an additional entry for the drawing.

The winner of the trip that gets the most shares across all of the social networks will also receive a $500 cash gift card. After sharing the hotel destination on their chosen social media site, each entrant will receive a coupon for 10 percent off at one of the “Wish I was Here” properties. This coupon can then be used to extend their winning stay, or to book a winter escape or spring break trip of their own. Winners will be chosen randomly around February 27, 2013.

“Hotels.com understands the value of a much-needed vacation, and we strive to make some wishes come true by giving travelers a chance to unwind on the sandy shores of these beachfront hotels,” said Taylor L. Cole, APR, travel expert for Hotels.com. “For anyone looking to sit back and soak in the sun or go on a wild adventure, these destinations offer just the right atmosphere and you’ll no doubt wish you were here!”

Prizes include a two-night stay for two adults at the following resorts:
