The Ronald McDonald House is currently under construction with plans of completion to be in 2015. This House will be offered to help relieve the burden faced by families will ill children. The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana has joined the Cadence Health team. They are building the first Ronald McDonald House in the western suburbs in Winfield, Illinois.
These Houses offer families a “home away from home” when dealing with their child’s complex medical needs. They provide loving comfort, compassion and, to top it off, a sense of community just steps away from their child in the hospital.
In order to make it all possible, the wonderful staff of employees and volunteers at Wise Penny work fervently to get in the best products for you to purchase at deep discounted prices. They are simply happy to work with the community, receiving donations, picking up products for resale or on commission and then getting those products sold.
