Pope Francis is certainly not the first Pope, and he won't be the last, to face more than Holy Mass in the masses of turned away cafeteria Catholics, secularists, socialists, and downright hostile purveyors of 'the culture of death,' seeking to either manipulate him, make his every word their propaganda, or see him fail and fall from grace.
But the Wisdom of God, in the Wisdom of Sacred Scripture, and the Wisdom accumulated in two millennia of turmoil, has taught the Popes, and this Pope in particular, to prepare for spiritual war:
"Let us lie in wait for the virtuous man, since he annoys us, and opposes our way of life..." Pope Francis, the virtuous man, is faithful to Church teaching and is a staunch Pro-Lifer. True Catholicism wouldn't have it any other way! Progressive and cafeteria Catholics are annoyed, and will continue to be annoyed at Pope Francis as he opposes abortion--in any situation--euthanasia, embryonic destruction, gay marriage, and contraception, to include (listen up Piers Morgan CNN!) condoms!

"...reproaches us for our breeches of the law and accuses us of playing false to our upbringing." Pope Francis, like his two previous predecessors, has no problem calling a duck a duck! Pope Francis, while still Cardinal Jorge, had no problems calling the President of Argentina a duck in her human rights violations. Though this Pope will not be a puppet for Capitalism, also he will not be a puppet for socialism and liberation theologians worldwide! The Pope, furthermore, will not stand for 'Catholic Politicians' who espouse religious persecution such as the looming HHS-mandate showdown this summer! Much less will he acknowledge a Pro-Choice Catholic Politician. He shakes hands with no oxymorons!

Many American Catholics are in for a shock if they think that just because the new Pope represents a Hispanic nation, and this is a refreshing change, that this change represents in any way the 'change' espoused by chameleon charlatans such as Barack Obama! Pope Francis, is charged with, and is called to fidelity to His Lord Jesus Christ, through the teachings of the Catholic Church, without aberration or nuancing, or Political Correctness! The Democracy of opinion, the new feminism, alternative lifestyles, perverted social justice ideologies, demythologized Catholic University theology, and the opinions of diabolical men have no sway on this man! For he is a humble servant of Jesus Christ. And his Church's Living Tradition has seen through Satan's smoke screen before!
