The 2013 Wisconsin Trail Assail Championship Series winds up on Saturday, October 5, with its final race of the year taking place at Nashotah Park.
Online registration is available through October 4 for the Wisconsin Trail Assail Championship. Race packet pickup begins at 6:30 a.m. on race day. The races start at 8 a.m., followed by the awards ceremony at 9:15 a.m. at Nashotah Park, W330 N5113 County Trunk Highway C, in Nashotah.
Each race opens with a traditional cross country start, as the entire field lines up together to cross an open field before entering the trail system.
Nashotah Park charges $4 for parking, unless vehicles bear current Waukesha County Parks annual stickers.
Championship awards participants must have participated in at least four of the six Waukesha County races in the Wisconsin Trail Assail Series:
- Menomonee Falls - May 11
- Nashotah Park - June 1
- Minooka Park - July 6
- Fox River - August 3
- Muskego - August 31
- Nashotah Park Championship - October 5
Championship awards will be based on the sum of each runner’s four best race times from the Wisconsin Trail Assail series.
