Blacklights, strobes, lasers, and other special effects light the route, with multiple themed party zones along the way. Fast lanes and jam lanes are offered to accommodate participants with varying paces in the untimed fun run.
Festive fashions with glowing accents are encouraged. A live DJ spins tunes for the pre-race festivities and after-party.
Team and individual online registration options are available through October 3 for the It’s Glow Time 5K – Milwaukee race. On-site registration may be permitted on race night, if space allows. No minimum age is required, although each runner under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
Every participant completing the course receives a finishers’ medal in the It’s Glow Time 5K at Wisconsin State Fair Park , 640 South 84th Street, in West Allis, Wisconsin.
The It’s Glow Time 5K begins at 7 p.m. on October 5, with runners taking off after dark.
It’s Glow Time returns to Wisconsin on May 10, 2014, with a similar event in Madison.
