Sometimes 9 months of cold weather just doesn't sit well with us Wisconsin-ites--it's a good thing we have the Wisconsin Dells to run to right in our backyard. Located within driving distance from any part of Wisconsin and with visitors coming from all over the Midwest, the Wisconsin Dells has rightfully earned the title of Water Park Capital of the World. If you just can't afford that trip to the beach this winter, you can head on over to Wisconsin Dells and have yourself a fantastic time at one of 22 Indoor Water Parks.
Wisconsin's largest indoor water park, Kalahari Resort, will keep you smiling ear to ear. With uphill coasters and surf simulators, this indoor water park has something for all you thrill seekers out there. In addition to the indoor water park, the resort also offers over 100,000 sq. ft. of indoor fun including a 6-story Ferris wheel enclosed with a spectacular glass case! You can visit the resort with out having to be a guest at the hotel. Full day prices run $34 for adult or you can opt to go for an evening trip for $25.
The Lost Rios Waterpark at Chula Vista Resort is home to a multi-level water park with 26 waterslides and over 200,000 sq. ft. of indoor water park heaven. You can't forget the wave pool and lazy rivers which makes it a great experience for both you and your kids! Chula Vista also has an indoor Chunnel which is a great way to access all the amenities available at the resort with out ever having to step outside(awesome!) You can also access this water park without a hotel stay for $29.95 for an all-day pass.
Looking for more than just an awesome indoor water park? Head to Mt. Olympus Water & Theme Parks for an all-inclusive experience. With over 37 waterslides, indoor water park rides, go-karts, roller coasters, two floating rivers, a wave pool, and much more--Mt. Olympus is a must do on your next trip to the Dells.
