Brothers Scott and Bruce Perry renovated the right corner location in the Tradewinds Plaza to let the sun shine in and focused the room around a large center-set bar - the gathering spot! Plenty of room - but it feels cozy!
Their menu is full of sports bar favorites - like poppers, nachos, potato skins and even beer cheese dip - yum!! But, the three things that set them apart are their wings, burgers and "surfer favorite" fish tacos.
The wings are prepared in the usual way - with your choice of sauce - but, they finish them on the grill giving them a smoky, crispy flavor like no other. Take advantage of their everyday special of 10 wings and a domestic pitcher for $10.
Wipeouts menu also stands out with their offering of 8 different burgers - all made with certified angus beef. They also offer a turkey burger option. Choose one of the cool creations or make your own combining three toppings. Tuesdays offers 2 for 1 burgers and drafts from 5 til close.
Finally, to keep with the surfer theme, Wipeouts Fish tacos start with marinated fresh fish - grilled or blackened - served with lettuce, tomato and cheese with a chipotle-cilantro sauce and sour cream. Remember how we learned about the history of fish tacos this Summer?
They also have a very popular full rack rib special on Mondays and Thursdays - $9.95 from 5 til close.
So many delicious reasons to stay and support local - and this Friday, January 29th Borrowed Blue will be sharing some great music from 8-11 p.m. Scott Carpenter, of Borrowed Blue, said "we do lots of fun acoustic covers of folk, rock, country and gospel songs that are guaranteed to make you sing along."
