Last week on “Winx Club” Stella restored the Pillar of Light and brought the sun back to the magical worlds. Aisha used King Neptune’s sword to remove Tritannus’ curse from Nereus and Tressa. Aisha then gave the sword to Nereus, who vowed to help the Winx fairies defeat Tritannus. In the Infinite Ocean, Tritannus and Icy plan to get the seals from the other two of the Earth’s pillars to restore the throne and rule the magical worlds together. Darcy and Stormy go off together, tired of being left out of Icy and Tritannus’ plans.
Daphne, who is still imprisoned, warns Darcy and Stormy that Tritannus will destroy himself and everyone in the Infinite Ocean if he reactivates the throne. They don’t believe her. She tries to contact Bloom, but Tritannus’ power is too strong.
Tritannus places the seal of the Pillar of Light in the broken section of the throne, and is hit with a powerful ray that weakens him, and he reverts to his triton form. Daphne takes advantage of his weakness and contacts Bloom.
At Alfea, Bloom is contacted by Daphne in her dream. She tells Bloom that she is Tritannus’ prisoner and warns her that the fairies must prevent him from getting the seals from the two remaining pillars. She says to find the Eye of Inspiration, which shines above and below Alfea, for help locating the pillars. Bloom wakes the other Winx fairies to tell them about Daphne’s message.
They search the magic archive for information about the Eye of Inspiration, but don’t find anything.
Back in the ocean, Tritannus plans to go to the floating trash island off the coast of Gardenia to get more toxic power. Stormy and Darcy tell Icy about Daphne’s warning, but she refuses to listen.
Tritannus and the Trix arrive at the gate to the Earth’s ocean. Selkie gate keeper Bella is waiting for them. She attacks Tritannus, but Icy hits her with a magic ice ball. She falls and Tritannus’ gang heads for the trash island.
At Alfea, Aisha asks the Sirenix box guardian for help. The guardian gives them a hint. The Eye of Inspiration is the moon. They see it shining above, and then see it shining below in its reflection in a well. The reflection flies up to the moon and a magical ray comes down and transports the fairies to a place made of water. Above them is a ceiling that shows a map of the Infinite Ocean with the locations of the remaining pillars.
In the ocean, Bella rounds up some fellow selkies to fight Tritannus.
Off the coast of Gardenia, Bloom’s parents and fellow residents of Gardenia are cleaning up the trash island when Tritannus and the Trix show up. He uses the toxins from the trash to mutate into his monster form and then turns the island into a trash monster. The monster attacks the people and Bloom’s mom calls her for help. The Winx fairies make their Sirenix transformation and they head to Gardenia.
The fairies arrive at the trash island to save the people of Gardenia. Tritannus and the Trix leave to get the next pillar seal. Stella wants to go after them, but must stay to help defeat the trash monster. Once the monster is defeated, they go after Tritannus.
Tritannus and the Trix run into the gang of selkies outside the gate to the Earth’s ocean. Tritannus uses the trident to create magic tentacles that grab and weaken the selkies. He and the Trix go through the gate to get to the next pillar.
The Winx fairies arrive, but stop to help the selkies, letting Tritannus get away.
Back in Gardenia, the trash island is hauled away. The Winx vow to stop Tritannus.
Next week, Tritannus takes control of a beast called the Devourer, and sends it after the selkies. The kings of the magical worlds form a council to stop Tritannus, but infighting prevents them from agreeing on a plan.
Darcy and Stormy appear to be too scared to get out of Tritannus’ mess. It’ll be interesting to see if they finally get tired of being used by him and Icy. Next week’s episode sounds interesting. The council might get in the way of the Winx and make things worse rather than helping as they could.
