Winthrop Playmakers debuts Pulitzer prize-winning drama, 'Doubt' April 4

Continuing its 75th anniversary season, Winthrop Playmakers are proud to present the gripping, Pulitzer-Prize-winning drama which earned Meryl Streep, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Amy Adams, and Viola Davis Oscar nominations for the 2008 film adaptation, ‘Doubt: A Parable.’ Visit for more information.

Set in Bronx, New York, follow the Sisters of Charity of New York as they attempt to unravel a harrowing mystery which sets faith and doubt into question. Directed by Chris Hagberg, the cast of John Patrick’s Shanley’s ‘Doubt’ includes Anthony Mullin as Father Brendan Flynn, Karen Cavallo as Sister Aloysius Beauvier, Cassandra Meyer as Sister James, and Regine Vital as Mrs. Muller.

See ‘Doubt A Parable,’ presented by the Winthrop Playmakers on Friday, April 4, Saturday, April 5, Friday, April 11, and Saturday, April 12 at 8 p.m. A Sunday matinee will take place on April 6 at 3 p.m. All performances will take place at 60 Hermon Street in Winthrop, Massachusetts.
