Wintery Saturday morning

It’s a new year and the weather outside is still frightful and rather chilly. But the holidays are done and gone, so you might ask yourself, “What is there to do on a cold Saturday morning?”

Well, you can put your winter coat and hat on and head to the Indoor Winter Market at Shaker Square. Their winter market opens for business this Saturday, January 8 and will continue every Saturday until March 26. The hours for this delightful market are 9 a.m. until noon.

They have several returning vendors from their summer market, which was located outside in Shaker Square. The market will feature fresh produce available, meats, fresh baked goods, local honey and cheese as well. Oh, and there will also be some handmade soaps and delicate treasures for everyone.

The forecast for Saturday morning in Shaker Heights is possible snow showers and 21 degrees, but what better way to spend your morning? You could stay home shovel the driveway or watch some cartoons.

Come on down to the Indoor Winter Market at Shaker Square. After your shopping trip, stop by Dewey’s Coffee on the north side of the square. Treat yourself to a nice cup of coffee after you shop the market!

Now, doesn’t that sound like a recipe for a warm Saturday morning?

Until next time…
