January 6 from Noon until 5 p.m. is the Cleveland Metroparks Winteriffic event at the Chalet Recreation Area in Strongsville. This event is all about celebrating winter and everything it has to offer.
Here are some activities that will be available:
- Noon - 4 p.m.: Snowshoe rental & instruction, $13 per person
- Noon - 4:30 p.m.: Horse-drawn wagon rides, $5 per person
- Noon, 2 p.m. & 4 p.m.: Dog sled demonstrations
- 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m. & 3 p.m.: Winter how-to-dress demonstration
- 1 p.m. & 3:30 p.m.: Snow bike demonstrations
The Chalet Toboggan Chutes will also be open during Winteriffic, admission is $10 for adults and $8 for children age 11 and under. One time ride tickets are available for $4.
The Chalet Recreation Area is located at 16200 Valley Parkway in Mill Stream Run Reservation between Routes 42 and 82 in Strongsville.
