The Winter Wonderland in St. Augustine runs now through January 2nd and admission is free. It is located in the St. Augustine Amphitheatre on A1A South, just south of the entrance to Anastasia State Park. The hours through December 17th are Monday-Thursday from 4pm to 10pm, Friday from 4pm to 11pm, Saturday from 12pm-11pm, and Sunday from 12pm-10pm. Parking is available at the parking lot directly in front of the St. Augustine Amphihteatre. On busy nights (i.e., Friday & Saturday nights) overflow parking is available at the Elks Lodge located adjacent to the Amphitheatre.
Children and adults of all ages can have frosty fun at the many activities available each day. There are horse-drawn sleigh rides through an enchanted winter forest ($10 for adults, $5 for children) and train rides, too. Ice skating is just $12 including skate rental (hockey and figure skates) , and for those over 42" there are dual ice slides. Those under 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent/guardian for the ice rink and ice slides. The ice slide is $3 for one slide or $10 for four slides. If you just want to watch, you can sit in the Igloo Lounge (sponsored by San Sebastian Winery) with rink side access to view the skaters or take pictures.
The Blizzard Bounce House is for those 12 and under and at just $2 for a five minutes session this is a bargain. Reindeer Games are great fun for all ages. These carnival games take one ticket each and these at 1/$2 or 10/$6. Another don't miss attraction is the Elf Village with interactive elf houses the Elf Express Train ($3).
There is a concession stand where guests can purchase S’Mores kits to roast over the fire pit that is lit every evening at 6pm.There is also a large variety of other foods and drink available.
Children can see Santa every night from 5:30-8:30 and there is a photographer available. If they miss him, they can just drop off a letter to Santa in the North Pole mailbox. Santa takes his vacation after his long Christmas work day. His last day for visits is December 24th. Guests should also plan to be in this Winter Wonderland at 7pm or 9pm to experience the snow, sponsored by WOKV, that falls over the ice rink and the Elf Village.
