A winter weather advisory has been issued for southern and middle Tennessee until 6:00PM Wednesday.
As usual, schools have started closing due to the weather. So far, Van Buren county schools and White House schools will close at 1:00PM and Warren county schools at 12:30PM.
Accumulations should be less than 1/2 inch in Nashville but the Cumberland Plateau could get as much as an inch by this evening but will diminish by midnight. Totals will vary as temps drop tonight.
The tempurtures should be too warm for much more of the white stuff in Nashville, but reports are coming in from all over the state, that the flakes are big, wet, and falling fast.
