Winter storm to pass by CT

For those of you who do not like snow, you should be happy with the latest forecasts. The winter storm that has been threatening to hit southern New England on Monday does not look to be much of a threat anymore. The strengthening high pressure in easrtern Canada will push an arctic cold front through the region this morning and will keep the approaching storm well south of us. CT may see a few inches of snow, especially along the coast, but nothing significant.

Here is my latest forecast:

Today: Scattered snow showers in the morning as the arctic front passes

Overnight tonight: Snow possible. Likely 1"-3" ending Monday morning.

Monday - Wednesday: Cold. Temps well below average.
