With a major winter storm set to strike Denver Thursday night, residents are keeping a wary eye on the sky. The National Weather Service has issued Winter Storm Warnings for the Front Range as well as the northern and central mountain areas. To the northeast, Winter Storm Watches are posted. Up to a foot of snow may be seen in the foothills while Denver is expecting 5 to 9 inches.
