Winter storm Nemo: 2 feet of snow expected (Photos)

Winter storm Nemo will be making its way in to New England tomorrow. On Feb. 6, WHDH Boston meteorologist Pete Bouchard summed it up when he called this storm "epic." Most towns in Mass. will get at least one foot of the white stuff which will begin falling Fri. morning and then really start coming down around 11 p.m..

There is a blizzard watch up for most of Massachusetts and other parts of New England Friday. According to the latest reports, some towns could see upwards of 24" in just a few hours. Thunder snow is expected to dump 3-4" per hour over night.

Winter storm Nemo has already caused Mayor Menino to cancel school in Boston Friday. He has encouraged people to get home from work as early as they can and to stay off the roads in the evening hours. Once the snow starts coming down, it is important for people to allow the plows to do their jobs. Driving conditions will also become dangerous with white out conditions and impassable streets.

The snow is expected to calm down some time on Saturday but some people are worried that the storm will stall and dump even more snow in Mass. over the weekend.

Winter storm Nemo has people running to the grocery stores today picking up the essentials... Milk, eggs, bread, and bottled water. Are you prepared?
