The Winter Solstice has been celebrated across many cultures and beliefs since time out of mind. The marking of the shortest day and longest night of the year is a time when the veil between worlds is thin and, yet, it is also a powerful reminder that darkness will now recede and, just as the days once again begin to lengthen, so, too, can we all look forward to a new season when fresh seeds-physical, metaphysical, emotional and spiritual- can be planted and, hopefully, lead to a bountiful harvest.
Join Lou Raedwulfe Friday December 20, 11 p.m. ET on his radio show, Stones Stars and Psychics on BlogTalkRadio as he discusses how Solstice has been honored throughout time and how so many symbols that are common to us as part of the holiday season came to be as well as their original meanings. Lou will also explore how the Solstice may impact each of us in our personal relationships and the coming year.
