Winter Solstice 2013 Events Around the Bay

See also

We here in the Bay Area have a plethora of events, celebrations, and exciting things to do at this time of the year. Between rituals, tree lightings, Santa sightings, concerts, and winter celebrations there is something fun to do practically every day of the month.

And this abundance of holiday traditions includes Pagan holiday celebrations. For the Winter Solstice we shiver through the longest night of the year and hope that the light will return. When the sun rises on Solstice morning, Pagans across the globe celebrate the returning of the Sun.

Pagan events and rituals around the Bay don't all revolve around a sunrise celebration, but there are plenty of celebrations to choose from. If you want to honor this holy day with community this Yule, try checking out one (or more) of these celebrations that are happening in and around the Bay.
