Keep kids entertained with great action movies. These movies are available from Netflix

Clean off the dining table and set up a board game marathon. Monopoly, Life, Chutes and Ladders-let each kid pick a game and everybody plays.

If the kids are stir crazy, dress them warmly, covering all the skin. In this cold, it only takes 30 minutes for frostbite to occur. Set a timer and have a snow angel or snowman building event.

Have the kids make snowballs and store them in freezer bags for warmer weather. The anticipation of a snowball fight in July is motivation enough.
