Is it just us or is the pre-season ski and snowboard sale season starting earlier each year? It’s not yet Labor Day, yet the sales have already begun. Ski season is beginning to look a lot like Christmas…
Case in point, Christy Sports Powder Daze in Denver started today and runs through Labor Day weekend with early access to ski, snowboard, associated gear, and discounted ski passes.
Winter Park Resort will be on hand at Powder Daze with its lineup of season passes, all discounted during pre-season. Winter Park is also adding an extra day to its Four Pass for a total of five days of skiing and riding with no restrictions for a four-day lift ticket price of $159.
To take advantage of the savings, all passes must be purchased in person at Powder Daze between today and Sept. 2. This will be the last time this special 5-for-4 Pass will be offered this season.
Those attending will also have the opportunity to take advantage of exclusive Winter Park Resort Ski + Ride School deals including a 5-Pack of transferable kids’ lessons for $529 and two adult lessons and lift tickets for $199 (a savings of $350 and $119, respectively).
The Rocky Mountain Super Pass Plus will also be on sale, featuring unlimited skiing/riding at Winter Park, Copper Mountain, and now Eldora, six days at Steamboat, three days at Crested Butte, and five days at Mt. Ruapehu in New Zealand with no blackouts for $529. A Winter Park Resort pass with unlimited access to its Seven Territories is $399. If you’re planning on purchasing pass products at Powder Daze, plan on using credit or debit cards only.
Powder Daze, the ceremonial start of ski season, will run from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day at its new location at 8601 W. Cross Drive in Littleton next to Southwest Plaza Mall.
