Winter Olympic Games: Nordic combined schedule

At the 2014 Sochi Olympic Games, the nordic combined events are scheduled to begin on February 12 and conclude on February 20. Nordic combined is made up of both ski jumping and cross country skiing components.

Men are the only athletes who compete in nordic combined. There are no women’s events.

The U.S. nordic combined team is led by six-time Olympian Todd Lodwick. The thirty-seven-year-old athlete won a silver medal in the 4x5-kilometer team event at the 2010 Olympic Games. He also finished fourth in the 10-kilometer normal hill individual event that year.

Other Team USA nordic combined athletes include five-time Olympian Bill Demong and brothers Bryan Fletcher and Taylor Fletcher.

The events are scheduled to take place at the RusSki Gorki Jumping Center. You can find a full 2014 Olympic nordic combined event schedule below. All times listed are local Sochi times.
