Winter Jam is coming to the Philips Arena in Atlanta on Sunday, February 10th, with the show beginning at 6:00 p.m. Jam Nation Door time is 3:30 p.m., with doors opening at 5:00 p.m. Tickets are not required, but a $10 admission is required at the door.
The evening line up includes an array of Christian artists such as, Toby Mac, Red, Mathew West, Jamie Grace, NewSong, Sidewalk Prophets, Royal Tailor, Jason Castro, OBB, Capital Kings, and speaker, Nick Hall.
Local sponsors of the event are, World Vision, University of Mobile, Teen Missions International, Xtreme Conferences, Premier Christian Cruises, Camp Electric, Youth Music Vault, Lifeway Christian Stores, and Teen Challenge.
Last year, my husband and I attended the 2012 Winter Jam at Philips Arena in Atlanta. We arrived a little early, but not early enough to avoid long lines wrapped around the Arena. It seemed people had arrived hours ahead for the event. Some were turned away from the sold out event.
My suggestion to anyone wanting to attend is to arrive early, hours early and be prepared to wait. With the above mentioned line-up, I believe it will be worth the wait. The evening should be one of Christian praise and celebration, along with inspiring words from Nick Hall.
